We Have Been Granted Class A Status for Channel 30 !

CFNT has been granted Class A status for both over the air stations, UHF Channel 30, K30DJ, and UHF Channel 20. We praise the Lord for this answer to prayer as we continue to upgrade the only local Christian television station in this area. The Class A distinction was created by the FCC, Federal Communications Commission, for those low-power television stations that qualify under certain federal guidelines. Having obtained this status we may have a better chance of being carried by all the local cable and wireless systems. Another plus is our protection from full-power stations as they make the transition to digital. In order for CFNT to become a Class A Station, we have met certain government guidelines which, like so much of government compliance, have cost us a great deal of funds. For instance CFNT has to be monitored 24 hrs. a day. We must also be able to control our main transmitter off site. These are just some of the requirements we have met. The new equipment has cost us thousands but we are believing God for the support of Christians in this area.
